For the exclusive release of the Droid X, Verizon wanted to build a buzz with local media in the mid-south region. We helped them accomplish this by sending time capsules from the future to all of the media reporting on the new smart phone. The first time capsule came from a dystopian future without the Droid X. Reporters and media agents were surprised to hear their names called out by the main character in the video. Each DVD was customized for the person who received it. A week later, the same person received another customized time capsule from the future. This time, the future had the Droid X. Recipients got a time capsule coffee thermos filled with newspaper clippings from the future. The one that read "Consumers Replace TVs with Phones" actually came true. The campaign was a huge success and won a gold ADDY.
